Goal:

The primary goal of " Personality Catwalk" is to facilitate introductions in a novel and memorable way while encouraging participants to both present and challenge perceptions of personal identity. This activity helps break down barriers and fosters a more profound understanding and connection among group members.

Description:

The "Personality Catwalk" is a dynamic and playful activity where participants are invited to introduce themselves through two contrasting catwalk presentations: one that aligns with their true personality and another that represents the opposite. This dual presentation not only adds an element of fun but also promotes a deeper engagement as participants attempt to discern truth from performance, enhancing group cohesion right from the start.

Instruction
Step 1:

Prepare the catwalk area and set up background music to create an engaging environment similar to a fashion show.

Step 2:

Explain the activity's format, highlighting the purpose of exploring and presenting both genuine and opposite traits. Encourage participants to use this opportunity as a unique way to introduce themselves and challenge initial impressions.

Step 3:

Allow participants a few minutes to think about how they want to express their traits for both walks. They should consider what aspects of their personality they feel are essential to share and how they can creatively illustrate the opposite.

Step 4:

Participants take turns walking the catwalk twice. One of them should represent their true self, where they embody traits that genuinely describe them. The other should depict their opposite, showcasing traits they do not identify with.

Step 5:

After both walks, other participants make guesses about which presentation was real and which was the opposite. This guessing game can lead to unexpected insights and discussions.

Step 6:

Facilitate a group discussion to reflect on the experience, focusing on personal revelations and the group's ability to interpret each other's presentations.

Additional tips:

• Encourage exaggeration and creativity in the walks to make them distinct and memorable.

• Promote a supportive atmosphere where participants feel comfortable expressing themselves creatively.
