The goal of the "Adjective Name Game" is to facilitate introductions in a memorable and engaging way while helping participants learn each other's names and encourage creative expression through the use of descriptive adjectives.
In this activity participants take turns introducing themselves with an adjective that starts with the same letter as their first name, followed by their name. Each subsequent participant must recall and repeat the adjectives and names of those who went before them in sequence before adding their own. This game promotes active listening, memory recall, and creativity.
Have all participants form a circle.
Explain the rules: each person will choose an adjective that begins with the same letter as their first name and reflects something about their personality or physical appearance. For example, "Jolly Jessica" or "Brave Brian."
The first participant introduces themselves with their chosen adjective and name.
The next person to the left repeats the previous person’s introduction, then adds their own.
The final participant has to recite everyone’s adjectives and names, finishing with their own.
