The goal of the "Movement Introduction Circle" is to facilitate introductions in a dynamic and engaging manner, allowing participants to express themselves through movement. This activity promotes creativity, energizes the group, and helps participants learn each other's names in a memorable way.
In this activity participants introduce themselves by combining their name with a simple movement or gesture. Each introduction is followed by the rest of the group repeating the name and movement, creating a dynamic and interactive introduction circle.
Arrange participants in a circle, ensuring everyone has enough space to move comfortably.
Explain the rules: each participant will introduce themselves by stating their name and performing a simple movement or gesture.
The first participant starts by saying their name and performing their chosen movement.
The next person in the circle repeats the previous participant's introduction, including the movement, then performs their own movement and introduction.
Continue around the circle, with each person repeating all the previous introductions in order, performing the associated movements, then adding their own.
• Encourage participants to choose movements that are simple and easy to replicate.
• Remind participants to speak clearly when stating their name to ensure everyone hears and remembers it.
• Keep the pace of the activity lively to maintain energy and engagement.
