Goal:

The goal of "Team Twister" is to enhance teamwork, strategic thinking, and physical coordination as teams work together to place a specific number of hands and feet on the ground.

Description:

"Team Twister" is a collaborative and physically engaging activity where teams must follow instructions to place a specific number of hands and feet on the ground. As the game progresses, the challenges become more difficult, requiring teams to think strategically and communicate effectively to maintain balance and coordination.

Instruction
Step 1:

Divide participants into teams of 6-8 members each.

Step 2:

Explain the rules: The facilitator will call out a specific number of hands and feet that must be touching the ground at any given time. For example, "5 hands and 4 feet." Teams must quickly decide how to position themselves to meet this requirement without exceeding the specified number of hands and feet on the ground.

Step 3:

Start with an easy challenge, such as "6 hands and 6 feet." Give the teams a moment to position themselves accordingly.

Step 4:

Gradually increase the difficulty by reducing the number of hands and feet allowed to touch the ground. For example, "5 hands and 4 feet," "4 hands and 3 feet," etc.

Step 5:

Continue calling out progressively harder challenges. Teams must adjust their positions quickly to comply with the new requirements. If a team fails to meet the requirement or loses balance, they are out for that round.

Step 6:

The last team remaining in the game wins. Optionally, you can play multiple rounds to give teams a chance to improve their strategies.

Step 7:

Facilitate a debriefing session to discuss the experience, focusing on what strategies worked, what challenges were encountered, and how the team communicated effectively.

Additional tips:

• Ensure the play area is safe and free of obstacles to prevent injuries.

• Encourage teams to communicate clearly and support each other to maintain balance and coordination.

• Adjust the difficulty based on the group’s abilities and the desired challenge level.

• Consider timing each round to add an element of urgency and competition.
